ABOUT THE ARTISTS
HARLEY LEAL, L.E.

I am a Licensed Esthetician and an Independent Makeup Artist. I earned my diploma for completion of the esthetics program from Lytle's Redwood Empire Beauty College. I received my official Esthetics State licensure in March of 2016. Prior education was obtained at the Santa Rosa Junior College in which I received my associates in Business, Art, Social & Behavioral Sciences, as well as Humanities.
I chose to enroll in the esthetics program after working in Santa Rosa as a Medical Receptionist and MOH's Histotechnician in a dermatology office. The year and a half I spent in the field of skin made me realize the importance of caring for it, so much so I enrolled at Lytle's to become a professional in the industry.
For six months I learned how to evaluate skin and find the best superficial course of treatment to improve the appearance of aging and congested skin types. Additional skills obtained through the program include facial and body waxing, as well as makeup application. My knowledge of skin allows me to apply makeup with a thorough understanding of how to achieve a desired look in the most natural and flattering way possible.
I continue to broaden my knowledge in the field of skin with classes offered by other experienced professionals to keep updated on the latest product technology. By doing this, I am able to present my clients with the best services and product information my industry has to offer. I currently work under another experienced esthetician who also shares a dermatological background, and the training I have done with her has helped sharpen and broaden my skills as an esthetician.
On a more personal note, I have two pets, a dog, Shorty, and a cat, Macey--they are my fur babies. I enjoy eating out and trying new restaurants in the area, traveling, renting movies from Redbox, baking, socializing with friends, and spending time with family. Any excuse for some a good time with lots of laughter and I go for it!

I recently completed the esthetics course at Lytle's Redwood Empire Beauty College. Currently I am a Licensed Esthetician and Freelance Makeup Artist who travels to clients within Sonoma County. I received my official Esthetics State Licensure on March 7th of 2016. I plan to return to school in August of 2016 to complete the Cosmetology program and expand my service options.
I started the esthetics program in the fall after graduating from Analy High School because skin care and makeup are my passions in life, and I want to succeed in a field that allows me to do what I care about most.
While in high school, I began experimenting with makeup on family and friends, creating looks specifically tailored to accentuate the best features for each individual. I also tutored Special Needs students for three years, giving me the opportunity to work on skills such as patience and strong communication. With this skill set, I am able to make my clients feel comfortable and make their visions come to life.
I always keep up-to-date on the latest trends in the world of makeup through social media. I also strongly believe that your skin care routine is an important factor in achieving a refined look, in which case I use noncomedogenic products to keep skin clear and healthy.
In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures to the beach or to San Francisco. I like to drive around in my car listening to all kinds of music. I like staying fit and working out every day to keep my mind and body healthy. I also love to relax and enjoy the beauty of life. I value family above all else and enjoy the time I get with them.
